Privacy Policy
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Discover333 ("the Service", "we", "us"), operated by Signal333 Ventures, collects, uses, stores and protects information when you use the Service and connect it to supported platforms such as YouTube (Google) and TikTok.
By using Discover333 you agree to the practices described in this policy.
2. Information we collect
We collect only what is needed to provide the Service:
- Account and contact details you give us, such as your name, business name and email address.
- Content you provide: your brief, scripts, topic or product lists and files you upload (for example spreadsheets, footage, music or end cards), and the choices you make in the Studio (approvals, schedules, settings).
- Platform connection data: OAuth access tokens issued by the platforms you connect, and your channel or creator ID and channel name so we can show you which channel is connected.
- Publishing records: a log of what was published, when and to which channel, used to prevent duplicates and to show you your history.
- Billing information is handled by our payment provider; we do not store card numbers.
We never collect or ask for your Google, YouTube or TikTok password.
3. Google and YouTube
When you connect a YouTube channel, you sign in on Google's own screen and choose which permissions to grant. Discover333 asks for two:
- Manage your YouTube videos (the YouTube upload permission): used only to upload and schedule the videos you have approved to the channel you connected.
- View your YouTube account (read-only): used only to read your channel ID and channel name, so the Studio can show "Connected to <your channel>" and check that the right channel is connected.
We do not read your private videos, comments, analytics or subscribers, and we do not use these permissions for anything else.
In line with those requirements:
- We use Google user data only to provide and improve the user-facing features described above.
- We do not sell Google user data, do not use it for advertising or profiling, and do not transfer it to others except as needed to provide the Service, to comply with law, or as part of a merger or sale of the business with notice to you.
- We do not use Google user data to develop, improve or train generalised artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models.
- Our staff do not read Google user data unless you ask us to (for example when you request support), it is necessary for security or to investigate abuse, or the law requires it.
Your use of YouTube is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
4. TikTok
Where you connect a TikTok account, we use TikTok's official authorisation flow. The resulting access token is used solely to publish the content you have approved to your account and to show which account is connected. Your use of TikTok is also governed by TikTok's Privacy Policy.
5. How we use information
Information is used to run the Service for you: to set up your account, prepare and preview your videos, authenticate publishing requests, publish on the schedule you approve, keep a publication log to prevent duplicates, send you service messages (for example if a sign-in has expired), take payment, and keep the Service secure. We do not use your information for advertising or profiling, and we do not claim ownership of any content you publish through the Service.
6. Third-party services
We use a small number of providers to operate the Service, such as hosting, payment processing, email delivery and sources of licensed stock footage and music. They receive only what they need to do their job. Platforms you connect (YouTube, TikTok) are separate services with their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their data practices.
7. Data storage and security
Access tokens and publishing credentials are stored securely, with appropriate technical and organisational safeguards against unauthorised access, disclosure or loss. Each customer's data and credentials are kept separate from other customers'. Credentials are never shared with anyone other than the platform they belong to.
8. Retention and deletion
We keep access tokens and publishing logs only as long as necessary to operate the Service. When you press Disconnect in the Studio, we withdraw the sign-in at Google (or TikTok) where possible and delete the stored token. When you close your account, associated credentials and your content are removed promptly, except where we must keep records by law (for example billing records).
9. Withdrawing access
You can withdraw Discover333's access at any time, without contacting us: for Google, at myaccount.google.com/permissions; for TikTok, in your TikTok app's settings. You can also press Disconnect in the Studio, or email us.
10. Cookies and analytics
This website does not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics. No personal data is collected simply by visiting it. The site loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google to fetch them. The Studio itself uses only what is needed to keep you signed in.
11. Your rights
You may access, correct or request deletion of the personal data we hold, and withdraw consent to processing at any time. Contact us at pay1709@sky.com to exercise these rights. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
12. Children
Discover333 is a business service and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
13. International transfers
We are based in the United Kingdom. If you use the Service from elsewhere, or our providers process data outside the UK, your information may be transferred and processed in other jurisdictions, with appropriate safeguards in place.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above and, where we hold your email, notified to you. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
